General Terms and Conditions of Sale – L’atelier13+ (Gîtes de Wallonie)

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale define the rights and obligations of the parties with regard to the booking of the L’atelier13+ gîte, located in Vierves-sur-Viroin. They apply to all bookings made via our booking engine or by any other electronic means.

2. Booking

The booking becomes firm upon receipt of:

• the confirmation voucher sent by email,

• and payment of the deposit (25%) within 10 days of booking, or immediately in the case of a last-minute booking.

If payment is not received within the specified timeframe, the booking is automatically cancelled.

3. Security Deposit

A security deposit of €200 is required. It is payable only by bank transfer before arrival. It is refunded within six days of departure, after verification of the condition of the premises, less any deductions for damage, loss, or breaches of the house rules.

4. Prices and Taxes

Prices include:

• rental of the cottage,

• utilities,

• end-of-stay cleaning.

Tourist tax is added according to the current rate of the Municipality of Viroinval.

5. Cancellation

Cancellation conditions are those of Gîtes de Wallonie:

• More than 30 days before arrival: refund of the deposit.

• Between 29 and 15 days: 50% of the total cost of the stay.

. Between 14 and 8 days: 75% of the total cost of the stay is due.

• Between 0 and 7 days: 100% of the total cost of the stay is due.

• No-show: full cost of the stay is due.

6. Arrival – Departure

• Arrival: between 4 pm and 8 pm

• Departure: before 11 am

Any late arrival must be reported.

7. Capacity and Use of Premises

The cottage accommodates 2 adults.

It is strictly forbidden:

• to organize parties or events,

• to exceed the maximum capacity,

• to smoke inside.

The cottage cannot accommodate a child, in order to guarantee comfort and safety.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in the immediate termination of the contract without refund.

8. Pets

Pets are not allowed.

9. Responsibility

The tenant agrees to:

• use the cottage peacefully,

• respect the neighbors,

• report any damage occurring during their stay.

The owner declines all responsibility in case of theft, loss, or accident occurring in the cottage or its surroundings, except in cases of gross negligence on their part.

10. Inventory

An inventory is carried out upon arrival and departure.

Any damage noted will be charged.

11. Complaints

All complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the end of the stay.

12. Data Protection

Personal data is used solely for managing the reservation, in accordance with the GDPR. They are never transmitted to unauthorized third parties.

13. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions

Confirming the reservation implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
